Moonlight ≠ Trumer

Never said they were. Just that if I wanted a Trumer Pils, I wouldn't go to Trumer esp if I didn't live by it. No reason to when you can get Trumer at just about any place in the Bay Area was my only point. More or less asking if the tap room was worth the drive for me.

Is a growler of Moonlight at home worth it? They're great beers, but they've always been an at the bar treat.

Does Altamont sell kegs to consumers?

They do, I got a keg of Shot Away for my wedding a few months back.

IIRC, it was $100 cash for the security deposit on the keg rental

Anyone tried the Vermont IPA from CM yet? Curious to hear comparative thoughts from anyone familiar with HF beers, Fiddlehead, Alchemist, etc. I got a buddy here at work that got me a couple fills of it just now, so I'll have my thoughts in a few hours. I'm sure it'll be delicious, just wondering how VTish it is... I realize one of the dudes brewing with Tim and Connor used to work over at HF, so this is likely more than bold claim. Gotta say, it looks legit.
