I have been trying to look for stuff, and this is what I have came up with lol. ******, but i will def try and check out Berryessa. Thanks for the updates, much appreciated.

The beerandraiderfan plan of attack:

--Go jump in the lake (Berryessa) off the party rock (bring shoes, feet down, not back, my girl's bf shredded her knee almost 20 years ago doing it wrong, avoid the cops, they'll give you a reckless/attempted suicide/trespass citation). I've done it as late as Dec. 21, early as Feb 14. Still looking for that elusive Jan jump though. It ain't polar bear club, but its a damn refreshing feeling.

--Then go jump in cold ass Putah Creek Go drink at Berryessa. Bring a Mexican friend so they laugh at the name.

--Drink at Berryessa.

--Drink and eat at Preserve.

--Drive to Chico. Tear it up at the brewery and Madison Bear Garden.

When in Chico. Panama Bar, bro.

It has been a while, Crazy Horse still happening.

You generally won't know until you walk through the door at CBS. Plus the new format screams of Maximum Price Gouging, don't get your hopes up this year. Might want to think about saving the $$$ and pouring it all into Parabola bottles 6 weeks later.
This. So much this. If you strip away the 'stood in line in cold cuz black Friday LOL' factor, does anyone outside of Illinois think bcbs is better than parabs?

If it wasn't the middle of November I would def be down to hit up the lake. but sadly i think it will be way too cold. Adding both these spots to the list. thanks guys.

Just looked, and Berryessa hours are ridiculous. closed m-t, open on fri 3-8. Sadly I think we are leaving pretty early friday so will miss this window. will have to hit it up on the way back.

For actual beer spots in Chico, check out The Winchester Goose and Burgers and Brews.

And then this...............

I am going to be in Truckee around Black Friday. Are there any shops in that area that get BCBS on release day?

Yeah, I figure I'll give the neighboring beer shops a call and see what's up...

Truckee used to have a cute little bottle shop owned by Tahoe Mountain Brewing, but I guess they closed down recently.

I'll be in San Diego around Thanksgiving. I give myself zero chance of finding any GI BC stuff (except for, perhaps, the original BCBS). Sigh...

I'll be in Santa Barbara forever more. Not that I have to fight people over BCBS, but there's just barely any to be found.

Crossing my fingers that FSW does a Black Friday release like last year's Maltose Falcons. That was a great consolation prize for me.

I do, all day long. Reg BCBS >>>> Parabola. BCBS is the best distributed BA stout available IMO. I don't even buy Parabola anymore. Well, I don't really buy stouts anymore, unless I'm feeling frisky.

That said, if anyone gets shut out on Black Friday and wants some 2013 BCBS, let me know and I'll hook it up.

Just a heads up for anyone interested, RWC Costco has Utopias for $160 and Almanac Grand Cru for $22, which is a solid $8 cheaper than I've seen it anywhere else.

That's a pretty great price for Utopias (under $7/oz). If anyone's interested, I'd be up for going in on a bottle at 2-3 ounces per person and sharing. Then, I'd like to take about two years to find a date we're all available on.

I'm interested. I'll see if I can grab one tomorrow.
