So how was the line today at RR? They run out as early as yesterday?

I dunno when they ran out yesterday but they let people in early today (10:30) and before 11:30 there was no line anymore, and still bottles being sold when I left at 12:30. Oh yeah, the bartender said it was 80% Temptation, 20% Sonambic this year.

Anyone got an inside connection to get some unadulterated Sonambic? I don't think I can rest easy until there is a poorly-written review of it under my name on RateBeer. Same goes for Procrastination - ISO, FT whole cellar.

They actually did bring Sonambic to a dinner at Toronado just before the 25th anniversary. It was good.

Also, that guy with the three stars is Kai, a good chocolatier and all-around good dude. His taste in beer...is often...surprising.

They said forty cases a day through yesterday (which I read as it was going to be all gone yesterday) but then said they didn't think it would last until next weekend.

Side question - how much are the bottles?

Walked right in at 11:20, paid $72, and was out within two minutes. It wasn't any more crowded than any other Monday. The initial hysteria has died down.

They sold out about 1230 today. Made it there at noon and got some but they only had about 3 cases left at that point
