Yeah, just saying I figured its the same dude, payin mules w/ those DGs.

I don't know what to think! What do the owners think, don't care? Whatevs?

It's cool though, out of staters have an inside line meanwhile IP folks get the "I know nuthink" act from the bartenders LOL

Ballin', bro,' ballin'. Props, and all that

That's how my boy Danny got his. His friend who lives in town went for lunch, and called Danny about it, Danny said get it, and paid him for the bottle. But, this was such a random occurrence. Likely not to happen again without knowing when they will sell them.

I really wish they would at least let us know a night in advance, I would make the trip up again like I have for a couple Supplication 3L's.

Exactly, seems RRs fbook used to announce it once in a while, not in advance, but at least let you know they were there that day, so hurry over etc. If it's changed to no more announcements & the release is locked down by these kinds of guys then... pfff. Guess I'm over it

I got a 3L of Supp from a facebook announcement. I have a good friend that works at home and lives in SR, so I asked him to pick it up for (bro) and it was painless. It would have been great to get a beat notification. That ******* with the six bottles can shove off.

Beautiful, that's how it should be yeah. Just announce it so it's an even field. Or make more, like stupac said. Til then, someone needs to add us to The List so's we can get all up in Da Club too

Anyone know the deal with the Pliny 12ers? Not sure if this is new packaging for the brewery only, but from the looks of the branding it looks like something else.

Pic found on the internets

I'd also like to know. Saw that new box earlier today too. Does this make it easier to sell the 12 they limit you to instead of a half full case?

Side note, anybody hitting up Rare Barrel for the release this Saturday? Rolling in with some homeboys to get another couple bottles of that rare stuff.

They do make enough of their good beer! Well, sort of, mostly enough. Just not enough of this one ridiculous format of it.

I dunno man, the argument could be made that he is not coming close to meeting the insane demand for his beer, even locally.

If you can't meet the needs of your local accounts, you must have a damn good reason. I'm a big fan of Boneyard's decision to not build a canning or bottling line in their new brewing facility so that they could focus their efforts on providing kegs to local accounts.

Bizarrely, Alpine is now on the list of breweries making enough of their good beer. For now.

It's only bizarre because Pat is crazy.

I think I'm good with two bottles, but I need to pick something up at a store right down the street (I'm going to get a wine barrel planter and make a jockey box out of it), so I'll be swinging by for my bottles probably around 3 so I'll miss the crowds.

Yeah, that's why I hedged. But these 3Ls are clearly pretty far out of line with anything else they do.

I gotta get more than 2 bottles since I am splitting a membership with a homie. Home Sour Home was ******* great though. Looking forward to more releases by them.

That Strawberry Sour on tap too, just icing on the cake for the trip to Berkeley.

I'm thinking about it -- not because of the bottle release, though it's nice, but just because I haven't been over and I want to go.

Yeah, it's quite a drive for me still, and I have only ever been there twice. I need to find reasons to go. They gave me two new ones for this weekend. Pretty excited, and hope it isn't a **** show, since they just won a couple medals.

I doubt that'll impact the crowds much, but the bottle release will. Early on Saturdays is usually pretty calm (my buddy works there so I'm often looking for excuses to go), but the Scuse Me release had a bit of a crowd. That said, it wasn't ridiculous and cleared out quick-ish, so we'll see.
