I doubt that'll impact the crowds much, but the bottle release will. Early on Saturdays is usually pretty calm (my buddy works there so I'm often looking for excuses to go), but the Scuse Me release had a bit of a crowd. That said, it wasn't ridiculous and cleared out quick-ish, so we'll see.

My hope is that there are so few bottles that the mid-afternoon will be pretty easy.

I might actually go to Faction instead and choose a different day to go by, however.

Yeah, I mean, I can just peace out if it's crazy since I live close and will be there anyway. But seriously, the Scuse Me release wasn't that bad and it was during beer week.

This John guy moved from Sacramento to be closer to De Garde and other Oregon breweries. I believe he got the hook up after the release.
Before the haul picture he posted about 20 brews, 10 de garde for trade for one of those 3l beat. I believe he offered enough to convince the right people he was willing to drop $$$, which he admitted to by saying the 6 cost him 3k. Anyway he wanted it and found a source, I'm sure some of the people here have the cantillon type of super hyped fire power to land one. They just don't see the point.

PS he is the same guy posted he got like 20 peche n Brett from the brewery and deleted that dick pick after he admitted he got a hook up from his brewer friend. Later, I believe Thoreau Like A Girl, posted a screen shot. You know, because drama is fun.

Is anyone hitting up Triple Rock for the Firkin Fest this Sat? Thinking about it. Never been.

I went last year, not worth it and I live a 3 min walk from Triple Rock. I went with a couple of buddies who also live close, and none of us are even remotely interested in going. 85% of the beers tasted like ****, and crowded. Is kind of cool to talk with some of the people who work for the breweries though.

Supposedly Diego got pushed to Livermore Saloon. Now Harpreet does most of the beer buying, I imagine, but his whole family is in on the scam.

Diego still goes on the beer trips with Harpreet. Though I think they're taking separate trips recently with one going to Oregon and the other to SD.

An amusing story I heard from some friends that Diego swore was true apparently is that he went to Alpine and Pat was complaining about illegal reselling of their beer. Diego admitted they were from Perry's and they sold his beer and Pat appreciated their honesty and not only forgave them but "gave" them a case of Nelson, case of Duet and case of Pure Hop and is sending kegs up soon.

I love that I have mutual friends with those guys so I keep up to date with their stupidity. Though ABC keeps ignoring my emails

I've been waiting for this round of releases -- they were down to just four taps this week, so I knew a bunch had to come soon. All sound very interesting. Given its pedigree, Admiration should be the best IPA they've made to date.

Caps and Taps is tapping some Egregious from Rare Barrel tonight at 5:00pm if anybody is interested. Just had lunch there, and they also have plenty of Almanac Pluot. Had to stock up.

I didn't even read about that one and went straight to the Dank Statement, but definitely getting some growler fills next week.

FYI the beer shoppe is having an Anchorage Brewing Company tasting today @3. Going to be pouring a Deal With the Devil. I hope I'm not shuting myself out by sharing this info with you all.

Trappist Provisions made their flight very well known and they had enough left over to sell bottles, so I doubt you are.

Also, the beer is not that good.
