I believe abecall98 and I are heading to Altamont tomorrow afternoon. johnnyramirez , any other interested parties care to join us?

Just to confirm, if anyone has been there: they will fill 750s, right?

Their website says they offer 64 and 32-oz growlers, but www.californiagrowlerfills.com doesn't specify any other sizes.
What time are y'all heading there? I might be up for it.

As for 750's...I asked and the info I got was sketchy at best. They said yes at first then said no because they were confused what size I was talking about...all I know for sure is they will fill 2L swingtop and screw top and 1L swing top/screw top. Fills are $10-13 for 2L, $6-8 I believe for 1L. If they don't have stickers/tags that show all the relevant brewery info for the fill they'll make you buy a growler koozie for $8.

They also don't serve pints, only serve $6 taster flights.

Looking forward to trying out this new local for me. I need a growler fix or two.

So refreshing to see growlers for those prices.

abecall98 and I will be there at 5:30 pm.

I sent them an e-mail inquiring about growler fill sizes.

Hope to see you, and possibly others, there.

Damn, I will try. I'm out in Fresno visiting my sister and her boyfriend. May leave early though and try heading there. Though it looks doubtful. At some point we'll catch each other and I'll buy you a beer

Don't rush back on our account. There will be other opportunities for sure. Hopefully before FWIBF.

I'm currently soaking some growlers in CLR + water. Hoping to sand them off in 20 minutes. Reasonable-growler-filling policies, here I come!
No time for me. I'll just grab a Couple Koozies.
Even if they're blank, they still may require a koozie. Painters tape works fine with them provided they have the tags for them to put on the growlers. Otherwise you're stuck with a koozie either way

Well, that was a great time with Arbitrator. Pleasantly surprised how good Altamont's beers were, especially for the great prices. They didn't have the stickers for the blank growlers , but when they do, I'm gonna be a regular for fills.

I'm still bitter that their stupid policy let them pass up 8.5 L in growler fills. Idiots.

Drake's appears to have a new year-round IPA:

I never tried out the experimental ones, but this seems like it might be worth checking out.

Ajax world tour ******** update.

I'm back on April 5th - 12th. Paging any bros that wanna do after 5PM meet ups preferably in South-Bay. Can do SF / North Bay on 5th / 6th though. Have a rental car and will have Vermont beers with me. Just some crappy VT beer...

I'm going be down in South Bay next week for a couple days for work. Let me know what day is good for you and I can bring down some JK, New Glarus, SARA, or RR stuff.

Checking into my hotel at 10AM in San Jose, tasting with a buddy at 1PM in Sunnyvale then I'm going to head north probably around 4PM. I'm thinking RR / Santa Rosa area between 5-8PM. I'll send you my number.

Sunday I'll be in the city. Monday in south bay.

It's Russian River's anniversary tomorrow night - what are they gonna have??? I'm gonna be there from about 5 onwards, I believe.

Tap list probably won't have any surprises, but I would expect some 3-, 6-, and 9-liter bottles to make some appearances...
