Any word if it will be to go? Or limits? Plan to go regardless, but to go would make it a lot easier for me to justify spending more money on beerIt sounds like there will be Cable Car at Toronado on Thursday at 6pm. Shh. Don't tell too many people.![]()
I haven't heard anything about any of that. They're generally pretty mum on those sorts of details.Any word if it will be to go? Or limits? Plan to go regardless, but to go would make it a lot easier for me to justify spending more money on beer
Figured as much. Was hoping that with them releasing the date and time they'd release other details as wellI haven't heard anything about any of that. They're generally pretty mum on those sorts of details.

I could probably pick you up one but you do know they are $60 each right? So you'd basically be buying one bottle for $120. I'd feel bad about that.So release is at 6PM, to go, limit 2 per ToronadoSD's twitter feed.
I was planning in going and am currently driving to Fresno instead for family. Doubt anyone will jump on this offer, but if anyone goes and can grab me 1, I'll buy your bottle. Just figure it's worth a shot to ask even though I doubt anyone will only want 1 bottle. Still gonna try making it back in time for release though
Thanks for the heads up. It's quite tasty.Heads up for anyone who hasn't gotten Hopfather yet. Russian River is currently out, but they'll be releasing 5 more kegs Sunday. It'll be your last chance until next year.
I was quite depressed when I stopped by last night and there was no more. I'm coming back from Chico Sunday, so I probably have already drank my last glass of HopfatherThanks for the heads up. It's quite tasty.
I'll be in Chico too. This hop fest looks interesting.I was quite depressed when I stopped by last night and there was no more. I'm coming back from Chico Sunday, so I probably have already drank my last glass of Hopfather![]()
It was, but had some really gnarly-looking sediment going on. Remember the movie American Pie? Yeah, like that. Some friends were just at Toronado and said that Cable Car is still on tap, just FYI.
Already came and went (to work for a few hours)! Probably never get 750s of 3F OG cheaper anywhere (stateside, at least). Bottle of Merkin, and some quads. Nom nom.Another reminder not to forget! I'm heading over to Oakland Whole Foods now, maybe I'll see some BTs there?

I usually stock up on Pannepot too during these sales. Orval too. This is what I got:

Pannepot for <$6/bottle? Sure, I'll take a bunch. The rest is just gravy, hope those Deschutes beers are good.
Sadly I'm all set on '12 3F Geuze (I know, is there such a thing?) so I just passed on that. It's too bad they didn't have any Hanssens, though.
They had a ton of Bois at the Oakland WF.i picked up some 3f and almanac pumpkin barleywines...wanted another bois at 20% off but no go.
Functional tastebuditis, would be my professional opinion.Am I coming down with something?

The description makes it sound like this is the third fill of the barrel. I wonder what the second was.Almanac's new release, a Bourbon Sour Porter
