Yeah, I mean, I couldn't imagine people just deciding not to line up for it this year. For some reason I had local news on yesterday or Wednesday and they had a story on it. I'm sure it's waning, but I'm also sure there are dudes who drive and fly in for it still. I've lived here almost six years and not gone up for it, but might if we can pop into Windsor to check it out and have some PtY if the lines aren't crazy.

I know it’s about the party in line but still seems crazy from the outside.

Some cool local stuff:

-Walk down 24th street in the mission and stop at one of the restaurants for a nice burrito. My go-to was always Taqueria Vallarta, but La Taqueria and El Farolito are both fantastic as well. Check out some of the street art in the alley ways while you're there.

-Head out to Clement Street in the Inner Richmond for the walk-up dim sum counters. Check out Green Apple books while youre in the area.

-Mission Dolores is usually fun if its sunny. Bring a tall boy in a paper sack and relax in the park for a bit.

-Seward Street Slides are a fun little pit stop if youre in the area. Bring cardboard to sit on cause it will rip your pants up.

-Chinatown is a tourist trap, but if youve never been its fun to walk around there.

-Walk around the Presidio or Lands End if the weather is good. Really gorgeous part of the city.

-I always recommend going to Pizetta 211 for some great pizza if youre in the Richmond. Love that spot.

De Young, SFMoMa, and Legion of Honor are all great for art.

I had the Framboos Oogst at GHS on Sunday and, honestly, it was worth $60. If I saw it for that I'd get it. I've been passing on Hommage because that seems to be the one hard-to-get thing I can still get from Etre these days.

Opened a new Hommage last week and it was ok, but wouldn’t buy more.

I thought I was the only one. In general I don't particularly love 3F fruited sours though.

Framboos is probably the only one I've really loved. Even kriek is a little lighter on the cherries than I generally like.

They need to remake Malvasia Rosso. That **** was fantastic. Hommage probably tasted better back when they made it once every other year (only kinda joking).

Not malvasia, but they do have more druiven blends in the works at the moment. Likely destined for the twist of fate series, i.e. in-house only, but still very exciting!

I actually some of the beer brewed at Alesmith's old place. I've had some killer fruited hazy's that I've enjoyed. The pilsner aint half bad either. I would just like some variety.

I cant say with certainty why they made the switch. I hope provisions 2.0 is profitable enough to survive though. Easily my favorite beer bar in the east bay.
