new santa cruz brewery coming?!

i’ve been waiting to see what happened here 2 successful breweries across the country, makes sense to come here
I know no one knows this stuff any more, but I'm still tickled by them calling Adair his "fiancé".

I've been curious about how they'd handle that as well, a new venture makes more sense to me than pulling him in at Sante (awkward...), but I guess we'll have to just wait and see.

What's happening?

I'm on vacation, but I'm sure one of these degenerates can take you out to a nice steak dinner then never call you again.

I'm in your (bay) area. Hit up both SARA locations yesterday, and am just meandering around the city eating and drinking the next several days along with seeing Thom Yorke tomorrow night. What's happening?

make sure to hit humble sea if you hit SARA, Alvarado St. as well if you're more mobile

Does anyone have 2 tickets to the Toro Y Moi show at the New Parish in Oakland this coming? ISO 2 tickets FT Beer, caaaa_$__H or a pair of tickets to the show at the Fillmore this tuesday

How does Toronado typically announce their events? Haven't seen anything about their beer week plans.

Heading to SF for a few days then up to Petaluma/Napa on Saturday/Sunday. Got any food/beer tips for that area for someone who has never been? Trying to see the Stockton Heat play too because I'm Canadian and that seems like the only sporting event happening in the bay area during our trip.

Ya, looks like the Warriors, Kings and Sharks are all out of town. And clearly the 9ers and Raiders aren't playing any more this year. Bad time to visit for sports. Stockton isn't terribly close to anything though, and definitely not on the way from SF to Petaluma.

Petaluma and Napa are also 40 min or so apart. Petaluma is the home of Lagunitas, and it's a cool spot to grab a beer, though who knows with the weather we're supposed to get. Russian River isn't that far up the road in Santa Rosa/Windsor - and you might just stick to Sonoma County if you're doing wine tasting. If not, there's a Fieldwork and Stone in Napa now.

For food, that region has both some of the best food in the world (several 3 star restaurants between the two valleys) and plenty of fine food as well. I'd definitely recommend finding a hole-in-the-wall Mexican place and getting a taco plate with pastor, carne asada and carnitas.

Thanks for the heads up! When you say weather... what does that mean exactly? Like roads closed because it rains so much, or just it's not enjoyable to go to a brewery when it rains so much.

Roads shouldn't close, still fairly cold so we likely won't get the major flooding unless it really dumps.

I've only been to Lagunitas a couple of times and it's been a few years, but they have a large outdoor area that wouldn't be nearly as nice when pouring I'd think. You'll probably think it's relatively warm, but everyone here is likely going to be whining about the weather...

I believe most of that area is covered now. At least that's my recollection from the last time I went, also years ago.
