He did cut at Churchill's but there was no reason to. Just more proof that he's a ******* *********.
Yeah, **** that noise. I was contemplating going to Churchills after I went to Alesmith to get VSS/BASS that weekend but I remember hearing that and went to Societe instead then went and had a small share in my hotel.

Churchill's was a lot of fun, I really enjoyed it. But, for the life of me, I have no idea why he even bothered cutting there. There was no way they were doing anything notable to go, and either we'd all get CFH on-site or none of us would. Why bother doing it? Does he really care that little about what we all think of him? Or is he too stupid to realize what people think and how his actions affect it?

My favorite story was the one for the RareR DOS release. Was anyone who was there able to recount it fully?

My guess is a mix of both. He used to post threads for those stupid fruit theme tastings he'd have and offer to have people crash at his house, but then turns around and does **** like the Peg's tasting incident, T-25, City Beer and Churchills

Beer has a huge glut of socially awkward people. I think he's just especially bad. And for some reason he gets really flustered when he lies in retelling a story (T25) and people call him out.

I don't think it's necessarily all that worse than anything else, but I'm not really sure it's all social awkwardness. I think it's more like narcissism mixed in with a lack of social aptitude.

Is he going to be at the Eclipse release? I thought I saw him post that he had tickets on FB but always see him responding to people saying they have tickets as if he's looking for some. For mules? It couldn't possibly be for friends, that would require him having them.

It wouldn't surprise me. Peepee Herman rolls to most releases.

EDIT: This is the name I was looking for. HaveUSeenMyCellar reminds me of Aleksey Vayner.

I was so happy when he was shut out after the sale, but I figured it wasn't to last. Sigh.

"Impothible ith nothing, guyth. Touch the peepee."
Back in my comic book message board days, there was a guy with similar issues who was under the impression he was secretly a super-hero in real life. Someone found his Youtube audition tape to go onto the WWE reality show on MTV. It still holds up.

...

And sadly, he's deleted it from his YouTube account, in a surprising show of self-awareness.

I dunno, it worked for this guy:

Just playing Devil's Advocate, but why should he care what you all think of him if he gets what he wants?
Yes it's selfish and ass-holey, but he can just go home and fap to his rare, so he doesn't care.

For my own erudition, is this chussain character one guy? And is haveuseenmycellar a title for persons or one person?

One person, and they're the same person. Had a long habit of responding to every trade post under the name Chussain with the phrase "Have You Seen My Cellar?" He then changed his username to haveuseenmycellar after getting mocked for this behavior. He also had an interim name to try to take off the heat after T25. Really awkward dude all around.

I was at the GI event at City Beer on Thursday, was number 8 in line when I got there. That guy in Arbitrator's picture (talking to the cop car) walked up to the front of the line while talking to some GI reps and started sharing some beers with the first 5-6 guys. He stayed there until the end and ended up with a bottle of rare.... I, and the people behind me, were pretty pissed.
Can we get a pool going for how long it takes for somebody to whip his ass at a release?

I have no desire to whip anyone's ass; I just want to publicly shame him. Line cutting drives me nuts at releases, and in general. It's one of the only ways that the J aspect of my MBTI type comes out. No one knows wtf I just said. Sorry.

I know what you said, and what it means. I don't know why you said it though...

I could see myself cheating and being that guy if the pots big enough getting really uppity and intolerant after a few drinks if I'm narrowly shutout in the future at a limited release because of the brand of dickery he's become synonymous with

Also, pray tell the peg's story.

Alright, time to come clean.

I have known chussian/haveuseenmycellar since before either of us were into beer. I knew his gf from college and very casually knew him until the T25 release. At this point, I was only an entry level beer geek, so I was content to show up at 10am and score two bottles of T25 only. Consequently, I missed all the supposed drama. In fact, the bigger offenses (T25, the knife incident, Goose Island this last weekend) I have not been privy to. Anyway, after running into him at T25, we became better friends due to the shared interest of beer. I certainly understand and don't really object to any of the critiques laid out here (except the lisp, I haven't noticed that), but he's always been cool with me and generally generous. Yeah, he's been pushy at times and has asked me to mule before (I haven't), but for the most part, he's been amiable. And to be fair, when I've told him I wasn't comfortable with muling, he would drop it. So I have judged him on my own personal experiences.

So at the next big event (Beat?), I'll probably be hanging with him at some point. I'd like to not get judged for my association with him and I don't get the feeling that I would, but it has crossed my mind. I have no interest in engaging in the practices that he has supposedly engaged in (his version of the stories tend to differ from what you guys say, of course) and by no means endorse them.

For the record, I have no interest in relaying any **** talking from this board to him.

Much appreciate the candor. I certainly don't judge you for associating with him. He seems like a normally sane person who does thoughtless stuff when he gets around rare beer. I'm far more amused by him than angry at him. I don't think he's any more crazy than the guy who got to City Beer at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving night. He's just more famous.

And that guy is certainly more likeable because he made it to the front of the line legitimately.

If we here like Rob Lowe and didn't give a **** about anyone else, then it would be understandable. But he still tries to be nice while pulling this garbage. That's what's perplexing.

No one is going to think worse of you for associating with him. The first few times I met him he struck me as overly earnest but not particularly bad, but at this point I'm just tired of the "out for myself" behavior we see time and time again.
