Are they just taking advantage of the sellers market right now? that is very steep IMO. And how many bottles do they have if they are giving out 300 potentially right out of the gate?
Founders can buy 1 bottle, so that's another 300, potentially. I honestly have no idea how they set these, but it looks like minimum 600 bottles.

Fields and Ensorcelled were $30/bottle too. Sirius Black was only $24 though. Not sure how they are pricing these things.

There is a dart board in the keg fridge with pricing. The bullseye is $5, and they all suck at darts.

Playing devil's advocate, these are 750ml bottles, and people don't seem to flinch when paying $15 a bottle (after tax) for 375ml bottles Firestone Bretta Rose or $13 (or more) for a bottle for 375ml of Russian River sour.

That being said, I do agree that it's pretty pricey, especially when most Sante Adairius sours are $16 to $18 for a 750ml bottle (cept West Ashley).

See "The Rare Barrel". Prett much everything about the way they're doing things has been off putting to me. They definitely wouldn't be surviving at these price points in almost any other market location.

Btw did anyone happen to go to Mikkeller Thursday for Arizona Wilderness' taps? Wondering if they're that good or if Arizona is FL and TX's younger sibling.
I'm in AZ now. Plan on hitting them up later this week after some early morning golf. I'll let you know.

New stuff at SARA looks yummy. I've been hanging out there the last couple days while staying with friends in Santa Cruz so it looks like this'll be my third day in a row there.

Had my first Berryessa beer last night. It was pretty tasty actually. Their Double Tap IPA. Was also able to drink some more Bangerrang. Damn is that good.

Great brewery. They're pretty underrated around here, or at least under the radar. They just got picked up by Lime Ventures for bay area distro, so maybe that'll change soon.

I do like their tap handle. Naturally, nothing is showing up on google image search.

They're ridiculously heavy and unwieldy though.

Anybody know anything on at Toronado today? Visiting from the east coast and just heading over now (I assume it'll be a zoo)
