Dirty Harry will miss that old railroad bridge.

I got a pic of them mid-install of the new pedestrian bridge...the re-bar was either powder coated or anodized bright purple. Tax dollars well spent making sure that the steel doesn't rust. I was for certain that it was going to be a train overpass.

I thought rusting rebar wasn't a concern anymore?

I'm going to pop up to Novato on Saturday afternoon to try Baeltane's tap-only barleywine -- the brewer ages it in barrels (apple brandy this year) for over a year with intentionally left head-space "to create a flavor similar to a sherry".

No joke, this is probably the best beer I've had since I moved here. It's 6oz pours only at the brewery, so should last for a little while at least.

14 years ago the 1st 6 pack I bought in America was Drakes Amber. It was ******* terrible. I chocked them down, but ****...

14 years has done Drakes good. This was the first beer I bought a case of.

I ruined most of that case by not drinking it fast enough. Currently Drakes is closest brewery to my house. We have both come a long way since 2002.

Fuckers, Hopocalypse Black Label sold out bottles and draft? Animals.

Enjoyed Red version earlier, downing green currently.

Black Label suuuuucks. Every year I get it reflexively, then look up my Untappd rating and punch myself.

I enjoy Green Label quite a bit more. What is Red Label?

Then again, you've posted the same pic twice so maybe you started dipping into the Johnnie Walker.

Red label was made with blood orange zest?!

They also made a white label that's an imperial white IPA.

Red label is Blood Orange. They did a white label that was a Wheat IPA and a session version. I only tried the Red. I liked it.

I've liked Black label bottles the last few years. *shrug*. I'll take bottles from people.

I know I'm a month or so late but I was impressed with the selection at the Alamo Drafthouse New Mission theatre. I'm not really tempted by the prospect of eating fancy chicken liver toast or a burger during a movie but I really can't complain about drinking a 20oz Moonlight Reality Czeck for $8 while watching Lady Snowblood. Hadn't had that beer in ages and I'd forgotten that it's perfect.

I was there as well! Drinking Knee Deep Citra, though. Great space & programming so far. Talkbeer crew for Shogun Assassin on Wednesday?
