Got here at 8 and I'm still waiting. This is a flat out joke.

Dude, that's worse than the drive to SARA.

People at Faction Brewing can't form a bar line for ****. Yet another example for my California residents don't make good lines observation.

lets take a moment to reflect on the fact that in our hobby we rub shoulders with people who are willing to wait in a 7 hour line multiple times so they can get lots of a beer so they can trade it away for other beers.

I don't mind if people are willing to do it, but the number of people who complained about seeing the same or worse inefficiency as last time have me rolling my eyes. I am Jack's complete lack of sympathy.

Oh, I expected the same. That fact that they were able to be worse I found spectacular; that's just not easy to do.

yeah, i skipped this year because last time was so ******* offensively bad. that they managed to make it literally twice as bad is a ******* feat. that's vinnie's second greatest achievement after the invention of the modern IPA.

I guess it's pretty telling that in all the discussions I've seen on this year's Beat release, nobody is actually talking about what it tastes like. Is it really just all about trading? Who actually ends up drinking this stuff?
Nobody wants to admit that the beer they just stood in line for 6+ hours for isn't a magic elixir.

I've enjoyed Beat every time I've had it in the past and if I could buy it with zero effort, but it's no better than 3F OG most of the time, especially when you consider the effort and cost involved.

I'm curious- have we met? Lol

Xul is everywhere, Xul is life...

I want to say that I have drank beer as well as accidentally bumped into Xul a few times but it may have just been another bitter individual.

Not that I'm aware of.

I generally try to avoid talking to random people at breweries. For every conversation that's actually interesting, there are six or seven completely inane discussions about "what's your favorite local brewery???" or the awesome trades someone has done recently to acquire thoroughly mediocre East Coast IPAs.

From RRBC - "Wow! A big THANK YOU to everyone who came out today for the Beatification bottle release! You guys are die hard fans, standing in line overnight or all day in the hot sun. Truly amazing! We had 5 tablets and registers running ALL day and couldn't move any faster! I had to occupy one of the bar registers for the day while Vinnie packed orders with the crew. Good news is we still have about 250 cases left, or more than a third of our total production. Tomorrow it's back to business as usual through the pub and gift shop. Beatification is also still on draft! Thank you to everyone who joined us this weekend for Zwanze Day and the release today! We are truly humbled by your amazing support smile emoticon. Cheers- Natalie, Vinnie and the RRBC Team"

I guess the **** show line continues tomorrow morning.

No apologies whatsoever. Because this is what they want.

i am 100% convinced they run things poorly on purpose. they loooooooooove the attention they get from a shitshow. **** russian river.
I've said the same thing during younger from 2009-2012, and the last beat release. Each one gets worse, but they continue the crap on purpose.
