Excuse my ignorance, but what's the difference between the 1L growler and 32oz one? Besides the 1.3 ozs.

That's it. I find it weird that this matters since that's absolutely within the margin of error of most filling stations, but whatever, I get being anal with sizes.Excuse my ignorance, but what's the difference between the 1L growler and 32oz one? Besides the 1.3 ozs.

Anyone happen to know where in SF I can pick up a six-bottle styro shipper today or tomorrow?
Probably closest to you would be the Postal Chase in Coal Valley.Anyone happen to know where in SF I can pick up a six-bottle styro shipper today or tomorrow?
Holy ****, I finally made it to Cellarmaker.
Thumbs are up.
Altamont Funky Operator - their Smooth Operator aged over a year and a half in wine barrels with raspberries added.

Pretty damn good. Not what I expected. Wasn't very sour or sweet , but more dry and subtle raspberries with roasted chocolate flavor. It's great.
$8 for a 12 ounce pour and $22 for their 1L growlette fill.
I was so close... Was in Pleasanton, but we didn't go because we wanted food.
I hope you stopped by caps and taps in Dublin.
Nope
Was clueless where to go, stopped at the handles place is Pleasanton. It was ok, at least I got to try two Altamont Beers there.
Ah, if you ever end up in the TriValley again, shoot me a message, this is my drinking backyard.
Noted.
Came here here to go the cluster F outlets for my wife. I was packing my 20 month old too, so my drinking options were a bit limited.
Oh man, that parking for those outlets...
I recommend getting a taster of something. If you like it, get a growler, if you don't, don't.Heading to Faction for the first time tomorrow. Are most of their beers listed on tap available for growler fills? Any recommendations?

Like Cellarmaker, they seem to have a pretty high-turnover list. Take advantage of the tasters and the sensible growler fill policy (cover your outside growlers and they'll fill them).
Though for some reason the bartender argued with me when I derided breweries that won't fill outside growlers. I think I need to spend less timeincomplaining about the beer community.![]()
That is cool, just wish I liked their beers more/at all.Looking forward to this opening: http://sf.eater.com/2015/6/25/8847799/drakes-dealership-brewery-beer-garden-oakland-opening-soon
I don't expect to get megawhales there, but it'll be good to have what appears to another solid beer destination in downtown/uptown Oakland.
Their barrel stuff is at least interesting. The IPAs/PAs/etc. I could take or leave. Not bad, but not particularly exciting. That is cool, just wish I liked their beers more/at all.
Yeah I'm on board with that except their porters/stouts. They're just so thin.Their barrel stuff is at least interesting. The IPAs/PAs/etc. I could take or leave. Not bad, but not particularly exciting.
