I have all the sympathy in the fracking world for the pixelationally challenged.....;)

I stay a few years behind intentionally. People would still be thrilled with black and white if they had never seen different.

In a way I am advanced. I store no cds or dvds.

All streaming.

Imho, you have to let go of the idea of owning any media. Unless you wrote and directed it.

2 years ago I painstakingly stored All cds and dvds. Now they are useless.

I pandora or youtube or netflix.(hulu fracking sux)

only thing that really bothers me on this show is that even the tiniest ship seems to have earth-like gravity.

Of course they all have earth gravity, Its Science.

Might as well. It's just as good the second time. Now Mrs Baggins digs it. We may have to start over. Lol

Honestly, lol, I feel a small pang of depression as I see the number of episodes I haven't seen get below 15. starting over will forestall the end;)

I know the feeling, I'm a couple episodes in to season 4, too.

I started planning what to watch next, and decided on Quantum Leap (which I'd been thinking about since Dean Stockwell showed up). I had probably seen almost all of the episodes during the initial run, but never saw the finale.

So I check it out on Netflix, and sweet, they have all 5 seasons... Wait... No they don't. There are 23 random episodes scattered throughout all the seasons that are only available on disc, including the pilot and the finale. WTF, Netflix!?!

We just watched the final episode tonight. {sniff}

We have been slooooooowly pacing ourselves to prolong it. We generally watch 2-3 episodes per week, and consequently are in the 2nd season

Half the fun is seeing TO BE CONTINUED.............

and, like BUGGAR THAT!!!!!!lol. B button...wait for it...., A button...and we're on to the next episode in 3.4 seconds.

Just watched the season 3 finale. Holy fracking ****balls, Batman.

ME TOO!!!!!!!!!! DEAR GOD!!!! DEPRESSING BUT GOOD!!!

Why were there old centurians on the cylon mother ship?

I thought it was AWESOME when they discovered the whatever lost cylons and they turned out to be old school. I thought thaey should have left it there.

Other than that AWESOME.

BETTER THAN STARWARS. (if you figure in jar jar and douchey annakin and all of that)

I remember watching the 2 part miniseries pilot on SyFy... man I was impressed. Was a great show but I am glad they ended it instead of lanquishing the **** out of it.

If you are a fan of Starbuck (Katie Sackhoff) you can see her in a new show called Longmire on A&E and its pretty good.. She hasn't done much at all since finishing BSG. It's no BSG, but it is interesting.

I think Athena explained it as a sort of mini rebellion where the obsolete models escaped to guard the base ship that houses the original hybrid.

Must have missed that.

Hard to complain about such an awesome show, but the bringing back of the classic centurions for just that one episode would have been cooler.

My only gripe was that Starbuck's death/reincarnation was never really satisfactorily explained, at least in my opinion.

I hear you. There were very few "filler" episodes. An excellent show.

The Starbuck thing was a complete bummer to me. I was all like WTF? man!

I guess they thought they had to take one of the most awesome characters in the show and make her something "more" than merely human or Cylon. How does angelic sound? Maybe a collective hallucination? who knows.

It was bizarre to me. She just disappeared...Starbuck was probably the biggest character on the show and it was disappointing to me. If the Chief hadn't choked out Tory Foster, they could have ended the whole Cylon/Human fund, at least temporarily through the resurrection technology.

I also had a hard time accepting that people accustomed to faster than light interstellar travel would willingly accept a move to an agrarian and hunter/gather lifestyle without keeping any of their technology. Just seemed rather convenient for the writers. Still a great show though!

Yeah, maybe by that point they were willing to accept the loss of that technology in exchange for a simple and peaceful lifestyle. Plus they got to sleep with some primitive peoples to repopulate the planet. Win-win.

I was really disappointed with the ending - i felt like the whole series was brilliantly planned out, excellent foreshadowing, stories that came back tied together etc and then just bleh they gave up with the good writing and just ended it

Pretty much every SciFi sadly. Reminded me of Stargate SG-1. Excellent until near the end and then just BOOM, SUCKS.
