I LOVED the ending.

starbuck was supernatural. I think that they backed themselves in a corner with that one.

She was gonna be a cylon, but they used that plot twist up.

"Wow! Another main character is a cylon? there are less humans left on the crew than cylons anyways, I no longer care!"

The pres died while adama was picking out the cabin spot? They named Earth after EARTH??????

Freaking awesome. Explained why ancients had myths about aries, etc.

I loved it front to back. Had me in tears a few times!

I used to listen to the podcasts by the producer (Ron More?), it was really interesting to hear about how much thought when into the story, and explanations of some of the symbolism etc.

**spoliers**

not just the starbuck disappearing part but the angel/demon role that #6 and Baltar suddenly play - I know it's sci-fi but the logic just flew out the window in that last scene for me

still an amazing series and I'd def watch it all again

I think they were projections from the real 6 and baltar, like seeing forrest instead of cylon bay ship.

BSG episode was on last night after the DVR episode of Futurama that I sat down to finish while eating dinner. My wife walks in and says, "Careful. You're playing with fire!"

It was the episode where Starbuck was having her "dreams" with Leoben and then dies in the Viper explosion.

(or does she?)

I loved the ending. I totally get that they dropped technology for a quiet existence. Their mythology was the basis for much of Earths ancient cultures and beliefs. Starbuck was an angel sent to guide them. It all happened before and will happen again, except, this time she got it right.

Although, it always amazed me that no one ever put a bullet in Baltars head.

I just watched the last episode tonight, been watching almost every night for a month now. I think this may be the best tv series I've ever seen. The acting was great, the special effects/cinematography were great, the plot was great, few if any filler episodes, and it was thought out from start to finish. I hate plot based shows that don't end when they should. I even loved the ending, which seldom happens when I really get into a show.

THANK YOU.

LOST seemed so well thought out til you realized that retarded manatees were making up every episode at random.

It's ok, a good show in it's own right but has yet to really hook me. There's none of that cliffhanger/nonstop action, or even the excitement of the chase that battlestar had.

Yeah, that's what I got too, and you know the world ends in 150 years or so, so it kinda makes me wonder what the point is.

I kind of liked the Caprica show, but I only watched the pilot and I think the first Ep. I'm actually thinking about watching all that they made when I get some time. Probably this winter.

I thought the ending was well thought out and awesome. I was worried they might turn up on Earth circa 2000, a-la Galactica:1980 and was so glad they made the whole series occur 200,000 years or so ago.

Caprica was OK, but if you're expecting another BSG you'll be disappointed. Well thought out and great acting, but had a totally different feel.

you talking about the one that was cancelled? or is there a new one out now?

2009 netflix streaming just added it.

i may check it out, but breaking bad and a few others will take precedent.

Also just really looked at Roku and Playon. Seems like that may open some doors. (cable free baby)

UPDATE: This Friday, November 9th, they will start releasing the first of several "webisodes" of the next BGS program. This movie was produced by David Eick, Ronald Moore's second in command on the show, and has several of the people from the series signed on.

It's a movie showing as 7-12 minutes episodes, 10 in all online, followed by the movie on Syfy, and then to DVD with extras.

Wife and I both had chills watching the trailer...

are the webisodes the same as the 2 hour movie that will be on Syfy or are they small clips leading up to it?

was excited thinking this was going to be a new series but def better than nothing

Yes, the same thing.

From what I read, they are webisodes and after they all get done airing online, Syfy is going to combine them back and show as a full movie. Then after that the DVDs with extras.

God I wish there were more of this stuff.

Why in the name of FRACK wouldn't they make a full on, in the theatre feature film?

I wouldn't care if they re-did the first 8 episodes into a movie and kept doing that. I would see all of them first run.

Even having already seen the series once, I HAD TO SERIOUSLY STOP MYSELF FROM STANDING UP AND CHEERING IN EPISODE 2!!!!!

so awesome.

Guess I am endorsing re-watching.
