battery operated syphons

Hi,

I am thinking of either buying an auto syphon or a battery operated sypon - can anyone give me any advice on which is best and easiest

I see no reason for a battery operated siphon. The autos are pretty easy.

I don't know what constitues a battery operated siphon, but I'd be leery about using anything like that in terms of it's ability to be sanitized properly. But as Grinder pointed out an auto siphon is a piece of cake to use...two or three pumps and Bob's your uncle.

And it can be easily cleaned and sanitized.
