Basil / Ginger Flavors

Trying to get basil and ginger flavor into a saison.

We did both at flameout but taste is gone after primary.

Was thinking of adding just chopped ginger in secondary and maybe a basil tea of some sort.

Any experience out there on this?

What I wrote in this post here about lavender, will work with basil and ginger. I've done ginger repeatedly. I've done basil in oil for infused olive oil this way too.

If you bottle, I've also boiled ginger with my priming sugar solution and added it at bottling tome for my gingersnap brown ale. If you're a kegger you could use a lactose solution instead which won't ferment.
