So I kegged my Imperial Brown Ale today, and after I connected it to the gas line I realized my relief valve was not working. The keg is filled with gas and beer, and when I pull up on the relief valve, no gas escapes. I am not even sure what the problem is since the valve is moving. I took the gas line off and pushed the button down to release some gas. Should that be enough to get the air out of the keg or do I need to release all of the gas, and fix the relief valve?

Pushing the gas valve to relieve is fine. That's the way alot of folks do it with pin lock kegs. I'd purge the O2 with the gas valve and drink the keg down as usual. Better off leaving the relief valve alone for now.
