Whenever I have a beer or 3 early in the day, I feel tired and out of it early in the evening.

What's your secret to having a couple brews around lunch time and still feel like hanging out in the evening?

i.e. On vacation.

I either take a nap shortly after lunch "to avoid the mid-day heat," or I throw in some strenuous physical activity. Water skiing is my favorite option, but anything would work.

Don't stop :D

I always work out before or after lunch. Helps get the blood pumping again so I'm not drooling on my desk at 2pm like most of my coworkers

I start feeling lazy in the afternoon about the time I take my first sip. Honestly, if I were on vacation and wanted to be alert for later events, I'd probably not drink beer that early. Or have a little less and maybe drink a bit of pick-me-up energy drink to balance it.

And you know, I hear they have this stuff that is supposed to taste just like beer, but there isn't any actual alcohol in it! I know, but you asked for suggestions!

1) no beers
2) no alcohol beers
3) only one low alcohol beer
4) low alcohol beers
5) low alcohol beers then an energy booster
6) low alcohol then a nap
7) just keep drinking
8) get schnockered and don't worry about the crash.
