Yes. Brazilian Soccer. Nothing better. I have watched their under 12 and 14 national teams play here in the States. Unmatched discipline and skill. Their coach wouldn't let them 'Shoot' the ball. Everything had to be a pass, on the ground including into the back of the net. They scored 24 goals in a 40 minute game against some American team. All were passes into the back of the net except for one that was a rocket volley from some kid from 25 yards out. He got benched the rest of the game. So impressive.

Yep, growing up in Brazil, I have seen the finest players in action when still teenagers, but then they get bought by some rich European country and get too rich and famous losing their motivation, but there had been exceptions!

I plan to go and watch the cup in Brazil, but I have friends or family all over that can help reducing costs. Thing is, if there is one world cup you want to go in your whole life, it's got be in Brazil because soccer is so big there, most people just have no idea. The cup there will be biblical!

Completely agree. I often think back to watching those young National Players and wonder who I watched play. Again it was the U-12 and U-14 teams in 1991 or 1992 which might put Kaka on the younger team. Who knows?

I have a wicked fast metabolism. I am active but I don't really exercise anymore. I hunt. I don't eat junk food or snacks at all. Leaves more room for the beer. I can't gain any weight without hitting the gym like an animal and that comes and goes.

This is what I look like the day after a $1400.00 beer tab for my wedding last year. I have no idea what the Hard Liquor sales were. Yes, I am freaking hurting. That's a beer gut!

I missed this thread <3. I'm a Liverpool fan, but considering our misfortunes as of late, I've been cheering Arsenal on. I desperately hope that they can win the title this year, to keep us level on league titles with ManUre. All that being said, the game yesterday, the last 20 minutes in particular, were right up there with some of the best I've witnessed. I love the way Arsenal develop young talent with the likes of Walcott & Wilshire instead of spending ludicrous amounts of money on players at the peak of their careers, only to watch them fizzle and die (a la Torres & Chelsea). We're only now seeing our youth players break into first team football (Shelvey and Spearing etc.).
