Apfelwein exchange, contest?

With so many people making Apfelwein, and so many doing it differently, it would be nice to be able to compare and maybe have EdWort judge a contest. We could also exchange Apfelwein among ourselves. I know they have an exchange forum, but it seems to be all beer.

Like the Borg, we could perfect Apfelwein and fly around in a cool looking cube, assimilating lesser drinks.

All we need is a collective.

I would be in....but I would have to recommend against having Ed Judge anything AS APFELWEIN other than true Apfelwein. I Love my Pferschwein dearly...but I'd never send it to EdWort as Apfelwein.

I do have a bottle or 2 that is going on 6 months now....maybe I'd send that to him just to say thanks.

As for a trade....Shipping is a bitch. It'd sure be cool to have a few trade in sites around the country....LHBS stores where you can take a 6 pack in....and leave with a 6 pack.
Hmmmm.
That could be a cool idea for any brew store.
