I have taken a little time in reading how to create a yeast bank. I have a few questions, and I wanted to know if their are any videos of doing this. I have read the FlyGuy's easy step's to making a yeast bank, but have a few questions about the equipment specs. As well as how much water, glycerin, and yeast do I put into each vial. Anyone have any experience?

Have you looked up at the sticky post at the top of this forum called "Slanting Yeast"?

The recipe I use for my agar mix is by weight, per 100mL water.
1.5% agar powder
7% DME
1% yeast nutrient (not pure DAP)

So if you have, say, 500mL of water you will add 7.5 grams of agar and 35 grams of DME along with 5 grams of the nutrient.

Go read the sticky post, it has everything you need.
