I'm on the look out for my next beer and this would work great.

Anyone have a recipe for it?

Can't find out anywhere but I know it's a newer beer too...

Their website has a good start:

Style: Pilsner
ABV: 5.3%
Malts: Pale, Carapils, Caramel, Munich
Hops: Saaz
Color SRM:7.0
Bitterness Units: 25 IBU
Original Gravity: 12.7
Brewed Since: 2010

Happy to help. Extract or all grain? Efficiency? Can you lager?

Thank you sir!

Maybe a mini-mash but if extract is easier - either would work great. Efficiency? Pick a good noobie number. If I am too low, I can always put some DME in it. The two mini-mash kits I've done so far AHS have worked out according to plan.

I can lager like a pro, have a freezer with a digital Johnson control so that shouldn't be a problem.

Something like:

1 lb of Pilsner
1 lb of Munich
.5 lbs of Carapils
.25 lbs Crystal 20 (ish)
Mash ~148 F for 60 min

5 lbs plis (or light) DME or 6 lbs of LME (if you do partial boils consider saving some to add close to the end of the boil). I would also consider using distilled or RO water to cut the minerals (extracts already have a full dose of minerals from the initial mash).

90 min boil to ensure there is not DMS.
1.5 oz of 3% AA Saaz @ 60 min (adjust to hit IBUs depending on AA%)
1.5 oz of 3% AA Saaz @ 10 min

OG should be 1.051

Ferment with a lager yeast of your choice (lots of cells, pitch cold etc...)

FG should be 1.010

May not be exact, but it should get you most of the way there. After that you can adjust and re-brew if you want. I tend to like my pilseners to be a bit hoppier

Excellent! Thank you for the recipe

I'm ordering supplies after I'm done with my next kit and I'll give it a try!
