What did you think of it? What does the original New Belgium Fat Tire taste like?
I can't seem to find it around here. I like most belgian's though and it is rare to find a beer I don't like.:drunk:

Thanks,
Al

Fat Tire is NOT a Belgian beer. "New Belgium" is just the name of the brewery.

I just tapped a 10 gallon corny of it yesterday.
This is the recipe I came up with after a day of Googling and reading everything I could find on it. I never had the original but I am liking this one alot. I think next time I would up the IBU's 5-10 points.

See the thread mrkristofo linked to.

In a nut shell...
It is not a belgian. The NB kit is not "biscuity/nutty" enough.
It is good in its own way, but not an accurate replication of FT.
