Charleston, SC didn't have a winter this year and hops started growing early.
I am a first year growing but have tested a couple of cascade hops. The hop cone leaves are getting a faint brown on tips. They are somewhat papery and go back to form on the squeeze test but when I cut one in half the glands are all yellow.
Is it time to harvest or let them sit a little longer? I have never seen the end product so any advice is greatly appreciated.
