Any Way to Adapt a Mini Oxygen Regulator to a Paintball CO2?

Hello,

I happen to have an extra mini oxygen regulator that is used on medical O2 tanks (like this one)

I am wanting to setup a cold crash system where I feed 1 psi of CO2 into my fermenter to account for the pressure change over the days of temp drop. Is there any way to adapt one of these regulators to accommodate a paintball CO2 cylinder? Disposable or larger.

If not I will find a different regulator but thought I would try to use this one as it is for low pressure dosage. Thanks!

If I can adapt the bottom thread of this valve to the paintball size (I think 1/2" NPT to 3/8" NPT) would I be in business to hook up a cylinder to the regulator? Not sure if there is a pressure difference of what the regulator can handle and what the paintball tans are at.

The o2 regulator measures flow, not pressure. Even if you can build an adapter, the regulator isn't going to do what you want.

You would be better off building something out of a low pressure propane regulator.

Thank you for your help. Looks like I should go with the William's Brewing small regulator as that is what it is intended to do.
