So I added Gelatin to my secondary about 5 days ago and I don't see any effect when i look at my carboy.

I'm concerned that I didn't do it right and was wondering if I added more are there any ill effects from that.

FYI here's what i did:
Mixed 1tsp of Knox with 1/8 cup of cold water then added about 1/4 cup of boiling water to mix it. Poured this on top of racked beer in secondary. I think I should've let the gelatin and hot water sit for a while before pouring it on.

I'd like to use Bier Munchers method and try again.

That shouldn't do any harm. What temperature is your beer at now? The colder it is, the better the gelatin will work.

Unfortunately I can't cold crash because i don't have a brew fridge so I just keep it in my brew room that fluctuates between 60-65 these days.

Did you get the gelatin to dissolve before you added it to your carboy? You should have a clear liquid when its ready and not see any clear blobs in it. If you think you did it right then I wouldn't add gelatin again but it probably wouldn't hurt either. You didn't say if you plan to bottle or keg your beer.

I usually add gelatin to my kegs before I put them in the cooler. I can't see it "working" but I think it helps clear things a bit and the gunk forms a nice mass in the bottom of the keg. Never did do a side by side comparison though.

I wouldn't say the liquid was clear. It was kind of an opaque jelly. That is why i think i want to re-do it. If i let the gelatin sit in the water it should mix better from my research on this board.

I bottle my beer.

Just don't boil it. I can't see another bit of gelatin hurting anything. Boiling is bad though. Sprinkle gelatin on cold water, (I use at least 3/4 cup...maybe even a bit more). Let sit for 20 min, then stir and heat to ~180F, (when it looks like it's about to start simmering). Pull it off the heat, wait a minute or two, then dump in.
