Another hot water hose thread

I've been connecting a potable water hose to the hot side of my washing machine hook up in the garage. It really helps speed up the strike water heating. However, due to the hose not being rated for hot water, over the past year it has burst a couple times and over the past two weeks it has burst 4 times. So now I am on the hunt for a new hose, does anyone have any recommendations?

I might be able to use some PEX tubing or even some high-temp silicone; but I don't know about their 'rugged-ness'. I have to transfer hot water about 15-20 feet.

You're pulling hot water from your water heater? You probably don't want to do that unless you use on-demand water heating. Water heaters tend to build up scale of minerals and other stuff that can affect your mash chemistry.

Maybe I just don't understand what you're doing.

For what it's worth I don't think it would be too rough to use silicone tubing over that length, although it's kind of pricey. I have a 10 ft stretch that I have used for a while now and it's been fine.

Weirdboy - You've got it, I haven't had any issues with mash chemistry, but then again, maybe I do and just don't know it. I might just have to go with the silicone, but I was trying to find other options.
