Good luck! Have you read How to Brew yet? Definitely a must read for anybody just starting up. What kind of hops came with the kit?

And the most important question: Red Sox or Yankees?

The guy I bought the kit from actually pointed me to How To Brew.. I've looked it over, but will definitely give it a thorough read before I start. Looks like a great resource

The kit came with cascade hops, victory and crystal grain, and 6.6 lbs of light malt extract.

and Sox it is! (being originally from RI increases the likelihood :) )
