This is the darkest brew I have made. I have acquired somewhat of a taste for stouts and such! Here is the grain bill for ten-12 gallons:


Mash at 155 for 60, and boil for 90
20lbs Marris Otter
3lbs American Crystal
2lbs Black Patent
2lbs American Roasted barley
10oz Fuggle Hops @ 30
Safeale S0-4

I kicked up the brew with 2lbs of Cain Sugar during the boil:D

mmm.. looks tasty. Did you follow a recipe? Also did you only do 1 hop addition?

One last thing, do you have more pictures of your setup?
 
Hi Im new so dont be pissed im asking. I love stout so this is how I found your post mmmm stout. I always hear stainless stainless stainless but I see an old aluminum keg set up for your all grain system is this allright? Old kegs are way cheaper than new stainless, so I would prefer to go that way
P.S. black beer is goooood
 
To answer some questions!!

My setup is all stainless no aluminum. I have not checked gravity on my beers for along time, I just brew and drink:D

This current stout is pretty extreme, and will take awhile to settle down some
 
Just poured my first pint of my Imperial Stout, man does it taste awesome. Bittersweet, very rich and dark can't wait for it to age some. Here is the recipe:
