Aloha , my name is Ian born and raised on Kauai Hawaii. I'm a mechanic. i like drag racing , cars guns girls beer and whiskey! Any way, i have brewed and American Amber, it was good quite strong. I was happy with it for a first brew though. I am now brewing a Brown Ale. i just put it in the Primary fermenter on Monday. Tuesday i went in to my closet and the beer had foamed up and started spouting out of the percolator on top! i removed the percolator washed it and replaced it. i came back today and the water in the percolator look just a little dark, so i removed , rinsed, washed, refilled, and replaced.
Very new to this im stoked having a lot of fun with it. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF IM DOING ANYTHING WRONG. Aloha everybody, and nice to meet you!

welcome new also but sounds right to me i think some brews blow alittle harder than others how big is your fermenter
think there is another member from the islands on here

You've got a healthy ferment there.
Next time, either use a larger fermenter, or rug up a blow off tube.
