Friendship Blend will be served at a charity dinner at the brewery. $100/ticket... if you win the lottery.

Really hope I win, but not looking forward to the drive back to NY in time for Mother's Day brunch the next day

I think they definitely did it right though. This seems like the only way to avoid mass hysteria/all the other wonderful things that happen at these types of bottle releases nowadays.

Can't hate on them for being charitable & I realize this blend is a one-off that won't be sold, however in the greater discussion...

they could always just put it out without announcing it and let the locals buy it.
not sure why places don't take the easy route, seems like a lot less work for them.

Sounds like all three agreed that these bottles weren't going to be sold (and, well, I'm gonna guess Cantillon's participation in this project was contingent on that).

This idea works reasonably well in Greensboro Bend and less well in fairly dense population areas.

If anyone tries to scalp these tickets you will immediately be struck by lightning on the spot. Just a word of warning, I don't make the rules.

It does also say something about ID at the door. I couldn't quite parse, even with that legal terms and conditions doc, whether tickets are going to have names, but I am kind of assuming it's going to work like the last private Allagash event where the owner of the two tickets has to arrive and have name verified, and can bring whoever else they want with.

So assuming people probably COULD scalp their plus ones, but then you'd have to meet up and bring with you the person you just bent over a barrel, sooo...

Have any loser emails gone out yet? My friend and I still haven't seen anything and we looked in the spam folder.
