I'm just assuming they'll have the "components" of Friendship Blend. Maybe it'll be more interesting and be Beat, unblended cantillon lambic and unblended coolship.

You're probably right about Pliny. I was mostly just looking at what was poured at Quintessence and riffing on that.

Trying the pieces would be cool. I'm wondering if RR's contribution was Sonambic or something different. Also never really understood if there is a difference between Sonambic and Beat. The closest I've knowingly had to pure Sonambic was batch 1 FFAC.

There is a difference (though small). To my knowledge, unblended Sonambic has only ever been served publicly at the T25 blending party, and I think it was about 9 months old? It was force-carbed for the occasion. A little bit less crazy sour than Beat. It's really good, but if you've had Beat, you're not super-far from it.

I don't think Russian River has a version of WFB. I took it as Vinnie traveling here to blend with Rob means that they did one joint U.S. blend together.

I'm 99% sure that Russian River did their own blend.

It's possible, I don't know for sure. Just never recall hearing anything about it from their end. I've asked a few times in various threads if anyone has ever seen a statement from RR about their own blend and have never gotten an answer. I'd think it would have been discussed on here and other sites if RR confirmed they were doing one. Again, it's entirely possible I'm wrong.

The final piece of the blending process was done at Allagash with Vinnie & Rob last summer in our wild barrel room. The breweries collaborated on a similar blend for a release at Cantillon Brewery in May 2014."

No mention of a RR blend.

i have a really good friend who lives in Portland so me and my fiance are gonna stay with her. whats the deal with the shares though? probably gonna hit the town afterwards though cause i don't get to see my friend enough.

I booked a room At the Holiday Inn because it was cheapest. I wouldn't be opposed to grabbing a bigger room somewhere else though.

But if we're just going to wind at bars after, then it's probably not worth it...

Be expected and didn't even get a response, now that I think of it they could at least have said we are not posting as its a surprise or we do not want tickets to be auctioned off because the list is so crazy
