I'm developing a recipe for a competition in a few months. I hoping to produce a roasty malt base with a big grapefruit hop presence, though I'm not sure if this is a good idea at all. So what I've done is taken damdaman's recipe from here, adapted it to my system, added some carapils (because I suck at head retention), and changed the hops to feature grapefruity goodness. The first attempt is probably hitting the kettle tomorrow. Let me know what you guys think.
