Adjusting thermostat in magic chef wine cooler

Hey,

My kegerator kit just arrived and I'm super excited. I picked up a used magic chef wine chiller a while back and have been keeping beer in it, but even turned to its coldest setting the beer isn't as cold as I'd like it. The compressor it only running part of the time so I believe the hardware has the capacity to cool the fridge colder. Is there a way to adjust the thermostat so it makes the fridge colder? Its not one of the new digital thermostats. Its the old 1-7 dial style one.

You're in Canada, can't you just put the beer outside the igloo? : )

I have a magic chef but one of those new fangled digital ones. Would you be up to swapping out the thermostat? I'm not sure you can do much with the existing one but others may have more info. You can also rewire the electrics to a temperature controller if you're feel brawny in a DIY sort of way.
