Hello all,

I recently had this beer at a local bar for the first time and loved it. Bought a 6-pack yesterday and it's outstanding...esp for the summer.

I've been wanting to make some sort of a refreshing vanilla beer as my next batch (only my 3rd, very new) but most recipes I've seen are for porters or stouts. While I love those, nobody I know drinks them much and I'd like to have a crowd pleaser.

At my local homebrew store yesterday, the guy said adding vanilla to a hefe would be good. That never crossed my mind.

I was thinking of buying the clone kit from AHS below and adding vanilla to it:

Does that sound good? Has anyone done a vanilla hefe before??

Thanks
