Good day !

I made a batch of RIS A couple of months ago.... probably 3 now. After about 1 month I racked to secondary. Would like to bottle it now and I am wondering if I need to add yeast to chew up the priming sugar. Thx !

It depends on which yeast did you use for the fermentation and the final ABV of the beer. If it is over 10%, then I would add a bit of yeast, but I have never added yeast for all the bigger beers I made.

You should be ok. If our uncomfortable you can get a pack of cbc1 and pitch it when you add your sugars before you bottle.

Need to or want to add yeast. The only thing that adding yeast will hurt is your wallet unless you are adding a huge amount that may change the flavor. If it give you peace of mind to add some, go ahead. The original will probably do the job but new yeast might do it quicker.
