I've got an S Air Lock on my fermenter. My wife just called me and said that all of the whiskey that I filled it with is now sprayed all over the top of the bucket. I'm out of hose to make a blow off. Any ideas as to what to do? Should she fill it back up? Is it gonna blow?

Just have her fill it back up, it doesn't seem like you have any other options. Have her refilling it until you can make it back there with a blowoff tube.

Fortunately, I think time is in your favor as long as the powerful fermentation is still going - it should maintain a nice CO2 cushion. Just get back there soon with some tubing.

Fill it back up. If it blows out, just wash it, sanitize it and put it back in.

Wanna verify. Take tubing, remove airlock, put one end of tubing into airlock then the other end into a mason jar of water... correct?

If it were me, I'd use sanitized tubing into a sanitized mason jar full of sanitizing solution.

Yep.
I use a small bucket instead of a mason jar, but same idea. All sanitized. I also put some sanitizer in the bucket water.

Well, yes. Don't forget to sanitize the tubing first. I wouldn't use a mason jar filled with water for the other end, though. If you get alot of blow off, it'll fill that jar up pretty quickly! I use a 2 quart pitcher (like for Kool-aid) about 1/3 filled with sanitizer and water. Just make sure the end of the hose is below the surface of the sanitizer and water solution. The other end should of course be stuck in where the airlock goes. Not too deep, just enough to be inside.
