Im looking for a new staple beer. I want it to be a stout, dry or sweet. I LLOOOVVE sierra nevada stout but it doesnt come in returnable bottles. im lookin for a fair prices stout in returnable bottles. any ideas? AND DONT SAY GUINESS!

I haven't tried nearly enough of Ray's beers, but the Ruby Ale is absolutely outstanding - gotta be in my top five. Hoppy red, can't do better than that, IMHO.

EDIT: sorry, :off:

How about Guinness Extra Stout? It's totally different from Guiness. But seriously if you can get Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald, it's a porter but great.

My buddy who lives in Calais said they got pounded with snow yesterday. How are you making out?

Like a pig in $hit! I have gotten out 2 out of the past 3 days on my snowboard, and expect to do some back country skiing today, Sunday, and Monday!:rockin:

Not sure it's available by you, but try Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale. I know you asked for a stout, but this one is soo very similar to SN Stout. I had to ask the bartender if he realy did pour me a SN Stout, and not Indian Brown. ;)
