I walked away from my Light pale happily draining from Carboy to bottling bucket, all was well, I went to cool the Sugar.
When I came back the horror struck, The floor was wet the Carboy was drained But there was only a little over a gallon and a half of beer in the bucket... It was then I saw the crack in the bucket..... I was able to save 15 12oz bottles

Please join me in a moment of silence for the fallen 41 :(

Oh my...
I'm feeling your pain. Maybe those 15 bottles will be the best beer you ever tasted.
Or maybe it would be better if the 15 bottles weren't so good. :(

this is exactly the reason that i never use buckets with cracks in them for bottling...

i'm sorry about your loss.

:rockin: :( We must move on and remember that our fallen comrade has not puddled down the drain. He has left behind, though fewer than we were hoping, another batch of education, flavors, and enjoyment. More precious now than even before, we bow our heads in silent contemplation...:(
