Well, actually... polar bears live primarily in the Arctic Circle (north) and penguins live in temperate to cold climates, but all from the equator southward.

Neither are predator nor prey to the other.

Just not buying it, Slym. [emoji6]

Can't wait for this next weekend. Supposed to hit mid 70s. Might hit the county fair or the zoo. Kid was sick Friday and Saturday but we made it to the park on Sunday.

Hope your kids are feeling better! It was rainy on and off here in DFW, and mid 60's today. Think the high was 70. There's an outdoor nature museum nearby with a pretty cool animated dinosaur exhibit. Last weekend was just too hot in the 90's, but if it stays cool we will be there this weekend for sure.

Truthfully, procrastidrinking....graduate level chemistry courses are kicking me in the rear and Netflix is a much much better option.

To alcohol!

This getting up at 4:30am sh** is killing me. But I'm actually f***ing happy with work, so there's that.

Oh, and it's Friday and I dont' have to work this weekend so I'm right f***ing drunk. Of course I'm up at a reasonable hour for Zwanze Day tomorrow. Of course with my work schedule "reasonable hour" means like 7am or somethign.

To alcohol indeed !!!

Damn it's only 1:23am in Western NY right now so this is maybe a nightcap ... maybe (probably not I'm craving a martini).

Jeeze that's a killer trade off, sleep for happiness, I would do that 8/10 times! Also do what you enjoy.. Seems like you should have another drink and maybe sleep in a bit ;)

Edit.. idk what zwanze day is

Eh, we just transitioned to a 6-2:30 daily schedule. We had been coming in 7-9am as the need arised and leaving whenever we finished. But now we come in 6am period, and leave when we're done (2-3ish)

Zwanze Day is the annual special Cantillon release.

Oooooooh I've been meaning to try and get my hands on something from them you are quite the lucky man! That is one hell of a grind. I only did that once for a summer job 530am-630pm 6 days a week. I feel your pain

What kind of work are you in?

When I popped this tripel it terrified me tons of pressure!

A number of beer bars in the US do Zwanze Day (limited though). May be something in your area tomorrow. All tappings are 3pm eastern time. Some do presales. Some (like mine) are first come first serve.

I brew professionally.

Yep. I drop at least $100 on myself alone every Zwanze Day (it's been at ChurckKey in DC the last few years, this year it's at The Sovereign, also in DC, which is a sister restaurant owned by the same company as the former but specialising in Belgian beers).

Even if you can't get Zwanze itsself (this year sounds awesome though), the addtinonal Cantillon beers usaully on tap make up for it. Allegedly we'll have Mamouche tomorrow, which is one of the few I haven't tried. Cantillon Gueuze and Iris will both be on hand too, both of which are absolutely phenomenal.

Meep. Now I'm guessing I'd probably spend just about the same and I don't know how I can justify that to my girlfriend without her murdering me in my sleep. Is it technically not tell the truth if I just don't tell her ? Haha

Just did a quick Untappd search wow that seems like an impeccable lineup!! I imagine it draws quite an eclectic mix of people should be some good people watching ;)
