Golfing in the Skins game today. Playing with this old guy who's really rough so they put me with him because no one else can deal with them. He's going to want to gamble.

He won, no game today. Still had chance, came down to 9th hole for front 17th for back. Match play. Got a closest to the pin, that was good.

That suuny d ipa looks juicy as fug. Other beers look good. Cant wait for the dunkel. So I've asked this question before but haven't got an answer yet. If I send beer in a 2 liter or 1 liter it seems like it would have less break potential and be easier than glass or cans. thoughts? Anyways cheers

IDK apple. I do the norm with bubblewrap and haven't had anything break. I'm now vacuum packing just in case. Had 1 leaky cap that caused much frustration.

I put it in a zip-loc, then bubble wrap. Then I try to line the box with plastic bags just in case. I've only had one break so far, and that's really to be expected at some point no matter what you do

I did exact same way until, UPS sent a shipment back due to a leak. That's when I started vacuum packing, idea from Untagable..oh yeah, Happy Birthday Gavin!

Funny thing. UPS took only the bottles, no wrap at all, put them in a single large bag, then placed into 1 box. That made it back to Austin with no issues..go figure.

Catch up..hb ipa/stout and m00ps goody!

Yeah these are plastic pet bottles. They are not going to break like glass i think. Is bubble wrap standard? I'm starting to wonder if I even need it

I save the wine shipping molded foam and box's from friends wine clubs. And still use bubble wrap.

Sounds like you need to experiment. I'll sacrifice for your benefit...you have my address I believe. 😉

In a month or so I'll have 6 unique HBs to share...just saying..

Happy Friday. Took the day off to spend time with the fam. Got some ribs going earlier with some pecan, and used up my last 3, over a year-old stored in hot garage hefeweizen's as the liquid in the smoker. Let nothing go to waste! View attachment ImageUploadedByHome Brew1470429942.972165.jpg

Also made a batch of salsa for the weekend, mostly from my parent's garden. Chillin' and sipping ' now!

Friday's are way better this way than working!
