First time we put a bid for a place was right at asking and we had a rejection within 20 minutes.

All depends on the market conditions. We offered 20K below asking and got an acceptance within the hour. Our neighbor's didn't like us for a while as they thought we were driving property values down, but it was a buyers market at the time. Not so much around here anymore.

Dude. We went to see a house Saturday that had been sitting with renters for a while. Scheduled to see it on Sunday and put in an offer. Boom, it sold on Tuesday. Our small town only has like 2 houses left for sale.

Dude. We went to see a house Saturday that had been sitting with renters for a while. Scheduled to see it on Sunday and put in an offer. Boom, it sold on Tuesday. Our small town only has like 2 houses left for sale.

That backfired on us a bit when we sold. The appraisal came in lower than we needed because there weren't enough comps. Lost out on a couple grand to make the deal work and get it closed before Christmas. I'm almost over it.

I hate to admit it but I have no timetable for when I'm going to see the new Star Wars movie. Honestly was never super excited once I heard it wasn't following the universe all the books have created. I understand why, but don't have to like it.
