QOTD: can I say any blue moon or shock top beer as a style? I don't mean Belgian wit, and I don't really even mean American wheat beers. Just everything out out with either of those labels on it.

There is a style for that. Its just not beer

Disagree though. Belgians were my gateway to craft beer and brewing, now I struggle to enjoy them unless they are hopped up or I'm three to the wind already.

I like regular (real?) Belgian Beers, just not BIPAs.

I'd go with smoked beers. I've had a couple I like, but 90% have been no's. They still suck me in every once in a while though, only to be dashed with a mouthful of grill drip-pan water.

lol no discrimination really, its research, so to speak. I was expecting to see more of a specific style, maybe based on my own opinion, and less of others. I am full on expecting gose/sours to take the top slot, followed not far by pumpkin.

Extremely smoked beers. Subtle is fine but eating a campfire is not.

When my coworker bartends at the Ukrainian club, I always go visit.. but dread their beer selection. Everything is so malty. Not an ounce of hops in that entire bar. $50 later I have the shakes and have to hit the vodka.

I have never developed a taste for them. Something about the tang of the maltiness of them. However, I love pumpkin beers. Go figure.

No. Just marketing. Most session ipas are too bitter with a thin body. Dont find them enjoyable. Rather have a pale ale which has more body and taste better.
