Cool... Don't know Spanish, otherwise I might come down there.

Ya hafta take a test furst. Derp

Salir de la mierda de aquí

We had some pretty glorious 60s and sunshine Thur/Fri/Sat here, now we're back to solid rain. This Sat supposed to be another nice day, but we all know how fickle forecasties be.

Anywhere in Texas in a couple of months for a couple of months

Why didn't UPS leave the package? What kind of neighborhood you live in?

It's my stupid condo bldg. You need a key to get in the front and I'm on the 2nd floor. There's a paging system but you need a phone line hooked up to get it to work. What is this ? 1989? F that

@iijakii
I expect you to be sh!tf4ced momentarily

..um...wow! Phone line..snicker snicker..

@m00ps they werent delivered by my lunch break, so sadly still on front door and not in fridge. Ill put them in and get one or two tonight. Excited!

Also, your favorite poster has a new thread. I'm too much of a friendly friend to troll anymore though (left that life behind me). Perhaps you could teach him about anti-sweetness properties.

NICE! I have no problems at least ghost trolling. That will be my soaps for tomorrow. I at least don't want to be the first friendly friend on the thread to make an ass of myself...sigh...I mean, psy

BGBC hooked it urrrp.

The quad and Saison went directly in the fridge. Because Quads and saisons are probably my favorites.

BronzeAlt. Right Gav? Or was that the Vienna I keep forgetting to chill. I beer shop better at a store than I can in my own garage right now.

Glad they all made it. Hopefully the saison is still drinking well, been a bit since I've had one.

It's getting warmer. Now is the time for pollen showers. Washing cars is useless.

I can't wait until I am friendly enough for people to send me beers.

I figure another couple years & I'll get there. It's gonna take that long for me to live down my current bout of infamy.

Until then, I'll have to be content with my own HBs. By the aroma my current beer has, at least I know I can keep myself happy.

:)

First pull of the random brown lager I made:

8 lbs Pilsner (2 Row) Ger (2.0 SRM) Grain 1 71.1 %
2 lbs Munich Malt (9.0 SRM) Grain 2 17.8 %
12.0 oz Pale Chocolate Malt (200.0 SRM) Grain 3 6.7 %
8.0 oz Biscuit Malt (23.0 SRM) Grain 4 4.4 %
2.25 oz Saaz [3.75 %] - Boil 60.0 min Hop 5 28.4 IBUs
Imperial L17 Harvest

Not fully carbonated yet, but it seems to be solidly OK. Tastes like you would expext -- a typical brown but with no yeast character, lol. Boring I guess. Not sure what else I expected. It'll be a good just general sipper though.

So I woke up this morning to constant gunfire and then news about Brussels. Not a good sign.

Of course the gunfire is a lot less exciting than it sounds. I live across a highway from a military base and they sometimes run drills at 7am for whatever reason (blanks I assume). Usually I'm up by then but got to sleep in a bit today.

I rode by one of those on my way to work yesterday afternoon. This was just after every single Arlington police officer had their car along the exit from 50 to Washington Blvd. I seriously thought I was getting shot at or something.

Speaking of coming and going as they please, when it is nice outside we leave the sliding glass door open to our backyard patio and close the sliding screen door. I have taken the bottom corner of the screen and freed it from the frame. It works as a doggy door during the day (when bugs aren't too bad). They just walk through the screen and it flops back closed to keep the big bugs out.

I have jealousy. We (my neighborhood) gets invaded by mosquitoes during the summer. Must have something to do with a few of my neighbors seeming hobby of being amateur mosquito breeders by leaving standing water out everywhere. You can not go outside for more than 15 minutes without getting swarmed. Of course, it is really nice for keeping skinny with all of the blood loss and all.

At least I got to spend the morning hitting golf balls at the driving range. Unfortunately I broke a rule and did not have a beer while doing so because work. Tomorrow should be prettier while some of you get snow-flocced.

I have a lot of grain stored up. I need to get brewing. I think I am going to keep full fermenters until I run out of kegs and bottles. Then brew more.

The Vienna (Vi) nabbed the recent bronze

The Alt (Alt) won nothing recently:(

Keg hop it with more hops to make it better good.
