Just drove home and crated puppy. was being jerk. Not sure fi we're done with free-roaming for awhile or not. I probably just need to excercise him more.

Always have some chew toys handy. Pet stores also sell a bottle that is a natural low odor bitter you can spray if the dog is chewing on something they should not (like a coffee table).

He had a squeeker toy, antler, nylabone, cow ear. Chose to go for a picture album, pen and kleenex box instead. Lol. I did get hellesdrunk last night and didnt walk him though, so I take partial blame. I'm going to walk him tonight and again in the morning and see if he does better.

I can't open Reddit at work. Blocked. I've never got a bad smell from gelatin. Smells completely nothing to me. You're the only person I've ever heard mention it having a smell. It passes the smell test every time.

I think you're nuts. That's my well thought out position. That or dag-farts. Yeah that's better, dag-fart hypothesis. Running with that.

It's interesting because the reddit thread mimics our convos

I've never smelled anything when I prepare gelatin.

Really? I buy Knox packets and I can vouche that every single time I heat it up it smells like a pig's ass.

Beerderp's argument is a compelling one, I'll give you that.

(are you Beerderp?)

Well that's convenient - can we just call you BeerDerp from now on? It's a lot easier to remembers than lliiilljaklliillil

Exercise will help a lot. Ours was nuts as a puppy and he would find trouble if he didn't get enough. He chewed open a pen at some point, walked through the ink and then walked all over the hardwoods. Jerk. At least it wasn't carpet, but still a jerk move.

I need to ask Professor Rhinoarsebreath if he eats gelatin. This may be the root of his problem. He radiates the stench of stetson and <insert animal> anus.

Was he in NYC last evening? I think I smelled him on the subway. Either that or a mouth breather who had eaten an entire bulb of garlic for lunch.

Yesterday after he ate some shoes:

I got eleventy rye IPA recipes and probably eleventy three rye saisons if you want a jumping off point

I'll take the rye saison recipes. Love rye and plan on brewing one this summer. That way I don't have to fight the heat. Just let it warm up in my garage, probably 95* most of the summer in there.

SPCA enforcement van was sitting near my house yesterday for a bit. Hopefully my neighbors didn't call them on me out of spite. Maybe I should clean up the dog crap regularly...

Pensive walk in the rain. Weird text from my brother asking if everything's alright. Only thing to do on such a bad day is to call my grandmother to try and make someone happy, she answers the phone sobbing. Reminds me it's the anniversary we lost my uncle.

What. A. Day.
Check please.
