My wife and I are developing the "F*** Yeah America" sandwich. It will be beef and American cheese with bacon instead of bread, no veggies, and delivered to you by a bald eagle driving a monster truck Hummer while shooting off fireworks.

You missed fireworks somewhere. Or it should come with a free handgun

Brewing up French press #2. 50/50 Brazil peaberry and Sumatra. Because I can.

Tile cleanup is well underway. Gotta get the mastic up, not that big of a deal.

That hammer tool saved your a.. if that tile was fairly new. My buddy blends all kinds of coffee beans at the store making his own coffees they're good. Sorry thought you cleaned it up last night, my heavy comment it makes a little more sense today I'm sure

Debating if I should crack a beer yet while watching a Sabres game and cleaning up the house. I think the answer is yes, but not sure what I want.

Alright going to brew:

71.1% Pilsner
17.8% Munich
6.7% Pale Chocolate
4.4% Biscuit

1.056, 30 IBU Saaz, Helles yeast.

Probably wind up weird but yobo and what not.

Had to run to the LHBS on short notice to bottle the barrel of Malbec we bought into. Had a couple glasses while filling bottles. Then had a sample of the chianti (really a super Tuscan) that's been in the barrel for four months now. Drinking very easy and smooth as hell already.

Then came home and racked my last two batches to the secondary. First was the Flanders red I brewed in October. Cracked the lid and was assaulted with sour cherry aroma. This should be a great beer down the road.

Think it's infected?

Then the wee heavy from two weeks ago. Tossed in some medium char red oak that's been soaking in bourbon for 9 months. Already malty goodness!

Now off to look at flooring for the basement. Busy Saturday!

Don't do it. Never agree to replace a floor. It only ends in misery.

Nice mcbaumannerb and fins. I'm doing nothing with beer but drinking it today. Might dry hop my rye pale, but that's barely worth mentioning.

Oh and ear piercing for the girl went off without a
hitch. 2 ladies were there to do them both at once, she was surprised at the pain but it didn't last long.

Guess I'll start brewing. Not sure I feel like drinking this early after how many I had last night, but you can't brew without drinking so I'll have to power through it. Tradition is tradition.
