I would go with a pump if you have the extra cash to do so. I got tired of lifting 10 gal of hot water.

I used it once from my friends at a local brewery and really liked it. Just didnt want to mess with cleaning another thing. I havent put any money in my system in a while. Might start making a in place system and not lift 10 gals of hot water/wort. Though lately its getting too easy to brew. Want to decoction mash soon.

I am reading that E=MC^2 book you recommended. Mind is blown and I'm only about 15% of the way done with it.

That's great to hear. I loved reading that book. Another great one by Brian Cox is. The Quantum Universe. It's heavier going for sure but is one of the best books I've read on the subject. Really amazing mindblowing stuff.

This was like mandatory reading in the Corps lol. I've taken this book with me out to the field to read and reread a dozen times. Just as epic as Beowulf, IMO, and a little bit more real.

I figured you must have read it. As a non US native reading that brilliantly written book and others like it really gave me a whole new perspective on the brave folks like yourself that proudly call themselves Marines.

That part (I was referencing) is like... really early on... unless there were ~400 pages describing his death, you'd have an idea that he might make it.

Read anything by Stephen Ambrose, if you have any interest in US Military history during WWII.
A side note, I was in a training exercise in Germany a few years back and one of my favorite memories from the experience was drinking at the beer tent with the guys from Ireland. I learned there that you can use absolutely anything to open a bottle of beer. Was very surprised to find how many females were in the Swedish armed forces...like a staggering percentage, I can't remember the exact amount though.
If you want to check out something really indepth and stagger, check out Tarawa: The Story of a Battle by Robert Sherrod. It was one of the bloodiest engagements in the entire theater and its the least talked about

The one with Jolie might have been alright, it just gave me the worst headache. My mother took me to see it in 3D when it came out as a bday gift.. I hate 3D, was just weird.

The Christopher Lambert one was shameful. Chainsaw swords and castles that spit fire? Just no.

The only movie IMO that had done 3d right was Avatar...because it wasn't used as a gimmick and more of a story telling tool.

I am much more scientifically ignorant than I thought. I thought I at least knew the basics behind the "theory of relativity" but I had a "no ****ing way" moment when the book revealed what it meant that the speed of light is constant, regardless of the speed of the observer. If I didn't already get that, I clearly had no idea what Einstein's theory was. That concept, when you really think about it, is nearly impossible for the human brain to really comprehend.
