Should I get @ridire 'd up right now or just hope for a 6er of apple phenolic Irish stout?

Don't worry. This is going to be a class-action sort of thing. You'll receive notification of your inclusion in the class via mail shortly after the filing of the summons and complaint.

Should I get @ridire 'd up right now or just hope for a 6er of apple phenolic Irish stout?

I think I'll definitely include one of those... for science of course.

I'm going to make bacon jam this weekend, which would be awesome to share... but would probably have to pack it in dry ice. Definitely not shelf-stable, at least, the recipe I saw.

So yes... ****ty beer and food poisoning coming your way.

My mother scolded me this morning for not having more beer bottled. Also reminded me she gave me a gift certificate to the lhbs. Why can't people just leave me be?

my company laid off over 11K people and the other companies laid similar amount of people. No one is hiring and too many are out of work right now. Just glad I still have a job at least the bonus is guaranteed because of this retarded merger still going on. I'm probably getting divested anyway.

So which oil company do you work for?

Feeling a little scatterbrained today. Been a long work week and I can only see more long weeks ahead. Overslept, missed breakfast, had a schitty vending machine granola bar and hitting the claurghee hard.

My mother scolded me this morning for not having more beer bottled. Also reminded me she gave me a gift certificate to the lhbs. Why can't people just leave me be?

Dude, your mom is telling you to brew more beer. Embrace it!

Last year I was at work and got a call from one of my customers with a job offer. Took it and really dodged a bullet. Previous employer sold pumps basically only into the oil and mining industries. Quite like my company now besides wanting more monies. Not sure I really deserve any though, I just **** around on HBT all day.

This may just end up in the box I send out. The winner had better have an iron stomach.

You trying to be like Wes now?

Sounds like Schlumberger to me.

My dad and friends tell me to as well. They just want free beer. I want to brew, trust me.. I just never set aside time for it. I've got ingredients for two batches at home. Procrastination doesn't fill the fermenters unfortunately.

Heh. Seems like we have the same job. Wouldn't be surprised if some people on this site use our industrial parts if they're in the oil industry.

Who? I promised myself once spring comes and the weather is more tolerable, I'd start really refining my process so it is less stressful. I've got the equipment and means to make a ridiculous amount of beer.. I just don't have the mindset to make myself do it.

Just win the pool and a jar will be coming to you. Along with some sours and saisons

That's me. I actually stressed all week last week after deciding to brew. I was certain that other obligations were going to screw it up or that I would get into my brew day and something would come up that would make me feel guilty about spending all day in the garage. But after I lit the propane, it became the most relaxing Saturday I've had in months.

You watch your friends play video games in their cave 20+ hours a week.

You don't have to set aside time... it's all you've got.

:D

Exactly. I always freak out, stress, and lament doing it. Once I start, realize I'm just spending a few hours standing in the yard staring at a fire, drinking a beer. I think my transferring of liquids is what really stresses me out right now. It is the only part of the process that I have unorganized. It ends up being a lot of raising and lowering of vessels via folding chairs, until they are at the right height. Maybe it's nothing. Either way, no reason not to brew.. I just don't. Would be different if I knew someone with common interests maybe. Wife tries to hang, she just gets bored and plays in the garden and stuff.
